Twenty Best Metal Detecting Relic – Jewelry Finds

While my attention on this blog to create collections of coins through the use of metal detectors, I think that many other treasures of precious jewels and relics. When I looked at my favorite site for 20 / best coin finds, are also the day that uses metal detectors and how deep was it. Most of these results came from both the ground or in water around Tarpon Springs, FL

1. 4 Diamond 14K Star Sapphire Ring der Linde – Found in the summer of 1973 with an amphibious White's Beach Tarpon(Diver-model). First water ring to find them – only 1 cm deep.

2. Mask WWI / WW II Jeep – White two instruments used for field training ground war in Tarpon Springs. Gas Mask 4ft. Jeep deep end and front-engine and 8ft. Backhoe to recover and the gas mask sold for $ 150.00.

3. Sterling Silver Lighter 1936 – Fisher 1260 with a mini-coil used to be easier to perform, about 8 inches deep at the middle school to find grass Sunset Hills (1990).

4. Confederate Soldier'sBurial Markers – Found in Tarpon (1992) with Garrett Master Hunter 7 on vacant land for parking is complimentary Fitness Center (only 3) inches deep.

7. Ornate Sterling & Gold Men's Watch Band – Columbia HS in 1924, found this beauty on the former football stadium (1975) to about 4 cm deep with 11 Fisher M Scope.

8. 18K Ladies Ring – I have this ring with garnets Fisher 1260 with my mini-coil to about 2 cm deep. Ring had been found date from 1895 (my oldest ring)-grub Limone San batch.

9. Navy WW II Sterling Ring – found in vacant lotLevis / Lime Street and returned to the owner who has lost the in1942 shortly before shipment. Garrett MH 7 sniper coil used to find the ring 45 years later – at about 1987 cm of depth 2

10. White Gold Wedding Ring – Dated 1949, I found this link in the football concession stand Tarpon High is my first day of metal detecting – 12/25/69 BFO Medeford with a 2 cm deep. He returned to play a couple, lost, the fall of 1967.

11. 1921 Silver Dollar in bezel SS – is the playground of TarponElemtary in 1993. 1260 Fisher found this beauty at 11 cm depth.

12. (Cache 45 BU) Bank Tokens – First National Bank coin minted in 1918 and 1929, buried with the fall of the stock market. Fisher, 1260 in 1990, used on the site of the then 92 years. former bank president, who buried them more than a foot. Left me to keep all 45

13. Antique 14Kt White Gold Onyx Ring – My first beach made with water Jetco BFO detector in 1970, visit the Beach Dunedin () 3 cm deep.

14. Cachethan 13 coins / brands – Mein 2 Cache-the vacant lot on Oak St. in Tarpon found with Fisher 1260 in 2000. More than $ 2000.00 of these coins were in a box of tobacco, with values of approximately 8 cm deep.

15. $ 1868 Gold Coin Ring – to find my first gold medal (1985) with a Bounty Hunter Big Bud to Fred Howard Park ring less than two inches deep in sandy soil.

16. 2 Tarpon Springs HS Class Rings – Found with CZ 20 on the first time at Fred Howard Beach (Spring Break 1985). Returned both ringsone belonged to one of my students. They were both less than 2 cm in depth.

17. 3 (Live) WW II bombs – these were excavated in 1971, used with Relco & Jetco BFO detectors in area for the training of artillery shells 1941-42 were about 6-8 inches deep.

18. 1 carat diamond 24K Nugget Pendant on 22 inch gold chain – estimated at $ 4500.00 and ended with 20 CZ Fred Howard Beach in shallow water. Returned to owner.

19. 1880 Orange Belt Railroad Brass Lock – Locatedalong a spur line in Tarpon Springs is about a foot deep with Medeford BFO with 12-inch coil.

20. Antique Watch 14K – Found in Clearwater, Florida in meadow shopping center parking lot with less than 1210 millimeters deep Fisher (2002).
